Restaurant Dreikönigshof Stockerau

Description
Let's stick to the obvious first: The Dreikönigshof in Stockerau is an upscale inn and hotel in one. Nicola and Thomas Hopfeld's family business is committed to quality. The interior is tasteful, and the kitchen line inspires with individuality. Great importance is attached to top-quality products from the region. Organic Waldviertel beef from Kamp Valley ("Kamptal") butcher Höllerschmid features prominently in the kitchen. Head chef Martin Mocnik conjures up exquisite dishes from it: the beef tartare is prepared from the lung roast and served with wasabi and white bread. An excellent choice is the boiled beef in a soup pot with potato rösti, chive sauce and apple horseradish. The fluffy apricot dumplings are a tip on the dessert menu.
Inn for (wine) connoisseurs
The Dreikönigshof in Stockerau is a top-class culinary establishment. A glance at the wine list reveals that this is the ideal opportunity to taste the local winegrowing regions at moderate prices. One focus is on the Weinviertler DAC. But the competition is fierce. Over 200 local wines are represented in the cellar. Thanks to its central location and good connections, the inn is often used for conferences, seminars, weddings and birthday parties. The guest garden with its grapevines and old wine press is particularly noteworthy. The traditional Sunday brunch is popular with families.
