Description
The municipality of Leitzerdorf consists of five cadastral communities: Leitzersdorf, Hatzenbach, Kleinwilfersdorf, Wiesen and Wollmannsberg.
The Way of St. James, which leads through the middle of our local mountain, the "Waschberg", offers recreation in a unique landscape.
The 388 m high Waschberg is located in the Natura 2000 area and, with its splendor of flowers and the occurrence of rare plant species (various orchid species) and a large number of insect species, offers an experience for every hiker, cyclist, Nordic walker or runner.

There are numerous events in the municipality, such as: Parish ball, sports ball, sports festival, harvest festival, fog festival and various musical activities that are very popular.
The very popular Leitzersdorf Waschberg cross-country race is held every year and soccer and tennis tournaments are also on the Leitzersdorf calendar.
