Weingut Sonnenhügel

The Sonnenhügel winery is located in the small village of Unterretzbach, near Retz. The name of the winery is derived from the first vineyard that was bottled by the grandfather of the current owner. The Sonnenhügel, a cuvée of different varieties from the Sonnenhügel vineyard, gave the winery its name. Today, the Sonnenhügel winery is not only known for its clear, fruity white wines, but also for its mature red wines.
