Weinbau Josef Reisinger

The Josef Reisinger winery, located in the Weinviertel region between Retz and Laa an der Thaya, is a place where the tradition of quality winegrowing is being continued by the fourth generation. With 18 hectares of vineyards in the top locations around the villages of Obritz, Mailberg and Hadres, the Reisinger winery offers a wide variety of wines. The nutrient-rich loess soils and mild climate create optimal conditions for the cultivation of quality wines. Both classic Weinviertel grape varieties and new varieties with high potential thrive here. Particular emphasis is placed on preserving the character of the individual grape varieties and the white wines are vinified with strong aromas. Barrique barrels play an important role in the red wines, whereby they are always used for ageing and must never mask the wine's own flavor. Natural viticulture, high-quality grapes and a symbiosis of modern wine-growing techniques and traditional vinification create a consistently high-quality product that can be experienced with every sip.
