The Eisenhuthaus is not only a café, but also a guest house that invites you to take a short break in Poysdorf. Fresh delicacies are prepared daily in the in-house bakery, which can be sampled over a good cup of coffee in the adjoining café. When the weather is nice, the idyllic courtyard offers the perfect atmosphere to enjoy sweet pastries in a relaxed atmosphere. The Eisenhut cake, a walnut and chocolate cake with sour cherry jam and Weinviertel DAC, is particularly recommended. It is prepared according to a secret recipe. Fresh lunch menus are also offered daily. Small, sweet gifts make excellent souvenirs. Wine lovers will also get their money's worth at the Eisenhuthaus. The wines of the Rieder winegrowing family can be tasted at the bar and purchased at farm-gate prices. The offer also includes own products such as Striezel (yeast plait), cakes, Weinbeisser pastries, nut rolls, Topfengolatschen, Eisenhutkipferl and much more. In September and October there is a pumpkin selection, Striezel for All Saints' Day and Christmas doughnuts in November and December.
