The parish church of St. Trinity in Waitzendorf was built on a hill on the south side of the village. It is known for its leaning tower and is a listed building. The church's 37-metre-high steeple was built between 1711 and 1712 or 1713 in the Baroque period in the late Renaissance style and originally had a double onion dome. As it was leaning, an additional foundation was built in 1932. The inclination is currently around 1.1 degrees, but is still increasing.
