Description
The Angergärten are located on the village green in Unterretzbach and are made up of many small garden paradises created by the residents of the community. And many things that used to thrive here still do.
The circular route through the gardens starts from the garden pavilion. Along the way, there are information boards with details about the gardens, their owners and their history. Small "natural pharmacies" provide unexpected insights into naturopathy and six (partly interactive) experience stations invite visitors to engage with botany and climate in an entertaining way: how do plants talk to the soil? What do our trees do for the climate?
On request, the tour of the show garden trail, which takes around 2.5 hours, can also be accompanied by a guide.
