The living museum! There is a place near Vienna where the Austrian veterans of the rails are at home: The Strasshof Railway Museum "Das Heizhaus".
It was set up by the "1st Austrian Tramway and Railway Club (1.öSEK) in the area of the former train haulage station, which was in operation until 1978, and opened in 1984. Visitors have the opportunity to experience a variety of locomotives and carriages in the original ambience and historical atmosphere.
The museum regularly hosts events.
