Weingut Schuster
Description
The Schuster winery, a sixth-generation family business, is located in the western Weinviertel, close to the Czech border in the wine-growing community of Alberndorf in the Pulkau Valley. With around 50 hectares of vineyards, it is a major player in the wine and arable farming industry. Florian Schuster has been running the winery since 2009. The sunny wine region is ideal for the production of both fruity white wines and excellent red wine varieties. Heavy, deep clay soils give the red wine expressiveness and complexity, while the dry climate promotes a strong concentration of different fruit and flavor aromas. The vineyards on clay and weathered limestone soils produce an interesting interplay of fruit and acidity for fine white wines. The passion for the work, both in nature when tending the vineyards and during the grape harvest in the fall, is the driving force behind the winery. The challenges of nature and independence make every vintage an exciting experience.
